I saw that one and was tempted. Some great prices on some really nice soaps. Decided if I pulled the trigger I’d be a soap hoarder. By the way, Cella is a really massively underrated and excellent soap. If they charged $70 a tub everybody would be raving about it. Curious to know how you like the AS.
I'll let you know! You'd be a soap hoarder? As if you aren't already. Couldn't pass up the soap and AS for the price. And I love lime! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Ummm..... Yeah, I see your point. I’m kinda like the fat guy who chooses to feel good about himself for having the self discipline not to eat the 12th donut in the box, while having just eaten the first eleven. Self discipline has got to start somewhere, though, right?
I think it’s more like after the fat guy finishes 11 donuts I go ahead and pull out an ice cream cake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I seriously need to stay off eBay until I can get my RAD back under control! This afternoon, I was checking my vintage razor saved search for newly listed items and ended up buying this for $15.99 plus free shipping: A B-type Schick Repeater. The listing also mentions a case but in was not shown in the photos. This is my first Repeating Razor. Is that finish silver or nickel? Also, probably a stupid question, but did I do okay on the price?
I believe it’s silver. I had a silver one . Also the price is a steal. If you needed to flip it you would easily get your money back. The only draw back is loading.
A beautiful L'Essor. Not cheap but eBay discount today almost covers the outrageous shipping from France.
Not directly shave related, but I needed a couple smaller chisels and found these for a nice price. A couple vintage Stanley wood chisels from the early 80's made in sheffield England. Looks to be NOS.
Yes, from what I've now read, it is apparently a B1 and is Sterling Silver. There were only two pictures with the listing (which weren't the greatest), but it doesn't look like there's a lot of tarnish, just the usual razor crud. As for the price, I honestly was surprised that the listing lasted as long as it did (about 30 minutes). I couldn't recall one that inexpensive before and jumped on it.
