Thirty consecutive shaves with the Rex. What a wonderful razor! I have shaved with it set at 1 to 6.5, all comfortable shaves. Set at one I really need the audible feedback. The angle that it actually removes stubble is very narrow at this setting, but get it right as I've said before, it's like wiping lather off my face with the back of a spoon and takes the whiskers with it. I have decided that 3 is the setting for me. Plenty efficient and forgiving. Some have complained of drag, not something I have noticed at all. Other than the price of admission, I would have no problem recommending this razor to any wet shaver, be it a novice or a seasoned vet.

I think going forward I'm going to shave with a couple of neglected razors before starting a thirty shave run with the Timeless .95 SC.

I find myself having mostly unfocused focuses lately, which is a politically correct way of saying I’m really not doing a focus; I’m mostly here for the Banter, Shenanigans, and to fight against the propaganda war being perpetuated with fake cookies.

I find that the more polarizing scents of B&M are often an acquired taste. I don’t like them at first, but I’ve come to appreciate them the more I try. Some of them don’t make it over the hump, but most of them do.

Glad to see you breathing new life into that Poor Man's Strop, Brian! It was part of my very early SR kit, along with one of Larry's Sight Unseen razors. The hook that came with the kit is still in place, where one of Adam's @Drygulch strops (#45?) hung until my lil shaver grandson showed up. Glad to see Randy @BaylorGator found a new home for the ole starter gear!

I think this was my first experience with Catie’s Bubbles. I was not impressed with the scent in the tub but liked it once it was whipped into a lather. I’m a fan of citrus scents and this lather. smells nice. It’s also a nice performer and I had a very nice shave.

Back to the Fatboy for "Fatboy Friday". After shaving with the Autostrop for three days this week, it was nice to get back to a DE for today. We're about 5 weeks away from September and I'll likely spend more time with the AS then.

On a different note, USPS claims that my B1 Repeater should be delivered today.
