Saturday Straights' Shave Cold Water Wash Cella Jayaruh #47 Synthetic Henry Taylor 5/8 CWR Pinaud Clubman AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Cella Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #47 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Henry Taylor 5/8 Razor and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Thank you. Out of my 24 Ivory scaled razors, these are my finest. Great crosshatching. (Schreger lines)
8/8 Celebrated made for CH. Suy in Belgium Liked these scales enough to try something similar with a Wade & Butcher. Finished that today so wanted to use this one to “Celebrate” A shot of the pair... Enjoy your shave! Tom

Maiden voyage on a newly acquired, restored, and honed Tennis Facharbeit (skilled work) 5/8. A razor company owned by Fritz Bracht, who eventually bought Dovo. This ones probably from the 20’s or 30’s, as the name Fritz Bracht began being added to the tang in 1940. Typical, very thin hollow grind, audible shaver from Solingen during this era. It produces a lovely close shave.
