    :happy096: Bruce! Beautiful photo as well! I'm taking a small Weber DE detour with my Parker SRX. I may go back to it for a few more shaves and then I'll put it away for awhile.

    Thanks..I used a Scotch Brite pad and then followed that up with some Eagle One Nevr-Dull. I do not believe the handle is original to the G/N head because the razor end is too large for the counter bore area in the under side of the base plate. I can find no markings at all. It is possible it is German but who know. It came off of E-bay out of Poland. It just grabbed my attention and was listed for a while and I made an offer and got it. It would be nice if someone took the design and made some modern ones to match the 400 aluminium brushes but make them out of solid aluminium. Picture below is from the sellers original listing.

    Gillette NEW SC w Permasharp (2)
    RR Irish Countryside SS
    TGN Finest/Maple handle
    Thayers
    Fine Fresh Vetiver AS
    IMG_1804.jpg 3rd day with the NEW SC and I went back to the RR soap. I've gotten very good lathers with this product this month. A little sandpaper around the edge of my mouth stopped me from being completely smooth after an uneventful, irritation-free shave. This Fresh Vetiver is a nice scent as well. One more day with this razor and then on to another.
