    Thanks, but far from the hone master IMO

    Just want to be able get straight shaves consistent.

    The gentlemen who revived the ancient use of convex hones believes them to be more simple for the novice to use.

    The true hone masters disagree but are highly critical of novices who create hone wear on bent razors so they can shave with them.

    I intend to figure what works for me. If I can't get where I want with a convex hone I won't keep it a secret.

    Either way, I have not really seen the hone masters objecting when I say a $20 shavette out shaves my straights. And I have edges from some of the best.

    Day Four - Target foam and Cloud

    Sadly, no MAYhem yet. Another blade that's "just ok". It actually seemed sharper than the first two days, and was kinda like Rainbow. This was my first time using a Chinese blade. Average Saturday on the prairie under sunny skies. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.
