    the names mike and I’m 8 months into Traditional WetShaving. I have a Shavette and the Muhle-R41 I’ve so far tried feather PolSilver and Gillette Silver Blues.Also tried derby half blades for my Shavette. ✌️ I also watch some of the “WetTubers” like GeoFatBoy,KenSurfs, PaulHFilms, “another cut above”with Chris and many other very informative gentleman . This which even Harvey made shaving fun again! I get that “ZEN” like mood every time I lather up!Have a great shave have a good day !!!!

    Welcome to TSD Michael @Mike-R41! Glad you signed up. Now we can talk all about it. This is your own personal thread so feel free to ask questions. Plenty of friendly knowledgeable folks around to offer opinions, advice, even actual information.

    I like your choices so far. I have a couple, OK maybe several Stirling & Proraso products in my den. Those Feather blades are top performers, too. Just recently picked up some Derby 1/2DE blades I'll try in my shavette. Got the R41 on my wanted list! I'd be happy with a 2013, but I hear the '11 is even more aggressive / efficient. I see a bottle of Old Spice - if you enjoy the P&G version watch for the vintage Shulton juice. Thrift & antique stores get them and don't understand how well that product ages if kept sealed. I'm tracking a package on it's way to me right now - Stirling Spice shave soap. Going to be great having soap and aftershave in the same scent!
