  2. Beautiful shot Jason. Perhaps a stainless steel handle would give you the extra weight you desire ?
Fantastic shave Charlie! Sounds like a fun evening!
Awesome Fat Friday shave Perry! And shaving with the FB on 9 !?!?!
I havent noticed any residual scum or film after using any of my Stirling products. I've been using bath soaps and shampoo bars for the past couple of months and really have been enjoying them as well!
Excellent photo Jim! And to think a little while ago you weren't really interested in vintage razors. Glad we fixed that!
Beautiful shot Clint! And I think it's no coincidence that you chose to use the Rover today!
    Wonderful shave Doug!
Awesome pic Colin! I find I have to load a little heavier with a boar brush then I do with either a synthetic or a badger.
You got some nice looking razors there John! Great shave too!

  3. It's an interesting story. A mild mannered High School chemistry teacher is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Through his brotherinlaw, a DEA agent, he's introduced to the high stakes world of meth. Disregarding the consequences to the end users of his product, he sets out to provide for his family before he succumbs to the fatal bane.

  5. My Omega boar is over a year old but still not completely broken in as its not a daily driver anymore. It seems to prefer certain soaps as well . My badger does same thing. Likes some , hates others.

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
EDRIO #95 Prototype Open-Up repeating Injector
    Schick Proline (2)
DSC Sunrise (26mm Elite Manchurian White, Frigate Class)
    MLS Colonia Di Agurmi soap
    Country Club Sweet Water AS

Interesting shave with this razor. It has a keyless Injector cartridge inside the handle (which I cross-loaded the Proline into). On the underside of the head it has a hook that increases in thickness toward the middle of the hook. When the head is in the shaving position the hook puts pressure on the back of the blade. When injecting a blade the new blade is inserted a few mm back from the blade stops. Then when you rotate the head into the shaving position the hook pushes the blade forward up to the stops. The way the head is angled it keeps the handle almost parallel to the surface you are shaving. Like most Injector shaves, once I found the correct angle, the shave was pretty effortless and ended up pretty close to BBS. The Mickey Lee Soapworks Colonia Di Agurmi is based on AdP and smells fantastic and is in the top tier performance wise. After reading Perry's comment on Country Club aftershaves I decided to use the Sweet Water sample he sent me. Nice strong Acqua Di Gio type scent and my skin feels great after the application. Definitely a great performing AS, too bad Country Club is out of the shaving game. All in all a great shave! Have a great weekend my friends!

    TGIF!
