I have my shaves all set through next week-more Stoylins after Monday. There's always that wiseguy who says "You got it al figured out, doncha?". Well, wiseguy, read below for my answer: Uh, yes I do.
Just goes to show you how we all operate differently. I have nothing planned ahead (shave soap, aftershave razor or blade) - I just decide on the spur of the moment what I want to use. that morning. I love the choices and being able to enjoy my unique shave based just on how I feel at the moment. Just another case of how this hobby is YMMV.
Well, I do admit to sometimes "changing the plan at the sink of scrimmage". But I like preparing ahead better.
Menthol Monday: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/new Shark Stirling Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic SS Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB B&M Arctique AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP The regular MITA soap I used yesterday is pretty cold but this Glacial version which came out around three years ago is another story - it has three times as much menthol in it so it’s a bona fide face freezer. The scent is the same, the lather is just as rich, but perhaps even a bit slicker than the regular one, and God help anyone who can’t tolerate intense menthol because the freeze pummels your face immediately and gets stronger with each pass. The Glacial Unscented balm is also plenty cold as well as soothing and very moisturizing. The Arctique aftershave smells lovely but it never interferes with any fragrance, and it’s lethally cold, yet it feels so good on the skin. The new Shark blade from Egypt helped to give me an awesome three pass BBS shave! Wishing you all a great week!
Thank for the warning Jeff. That is one I'll be staying away from. I think I'm getting ready for glacial but not 3 times the menthol.
It's the same scent profile as SDM. Based on Green Irish Tweed by Creed Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Just got back from a business trip to Vegas. Wanted to smell gooooooood. So I brought my puck of Executive Man, and my sample sized AS of Executive Man, Sharp Dressed Man and Stirling Gentleman. Ran out of all the AS except Gentleman. I really like Stirling Gentleman but my family doesn’t. Is Haverford very similar, or a different animal all together? And has anyone heard when the deodorants will make a return?
To my nose Gentleman and Haverford are two different animals. Haverford has a sweeter vanilla note along with tobacco and when lathered I pick up some coffee. It has become a fast favorite. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
