That's good new's, most aftershaves don't have staying power when you're sweating. I've heard that Ramblin Man has an Irish Spring type scent?. What do you think Paul?.

Is he allowed to say it PIFed him off?

Probably safe to use knowing he don't subscribe to double dipping.

The Bakers Street AS matches up really well with the Dove Expert Shave SC.

It's been ages since I last used Irish Spring...probably since I was a teen-ager using the deodorant soap. Makes it tough to describe as Irish-Spring-like, going back that far. Perhaps the "citrus" top note leads one to it, but I don't know. The green bottle could be another clue.

I have my shaves all set through next week-more Stoylins after Monday. There's always that wiseguy who says "You got it al figured out, doncha?". Well, wiseguy, read below for my answer:

    Uh, yes I do.

Just goes to show you how we all operate differently. I have nothing planned ahead (shave soap, aftershave razor or blade) - I just decide on the spur of the moment what I want to use. that morning. I love the choices and being able to enjoy my unique shave based just on how I feel at the moment. Just another case of how this hobby is YMMV.

Well, I do admit to sometimes "changing the plan at the sink of scrimmage". But I like preparing ahead better.

    C47DCD84-E58A-40BB-85B3-D93FECF549B8.jpeg Menthol Monday:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/new Shark
Stirling Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    B&M Arctique AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

The regular MITA soap I used yesterday is pretty cold but this Glacial version which came out around three years ago is another story - it has three times as much menthol in it so it’s a bona fide face freezer. The scent is the same, the lather is just as rich, but perhaps even a bit slicker than the regular one, and God help anyone who can’t tolerate intense menthol because the freeze pummels your face immediately and gets stronger with each pass. The Glacial Unscented balm is also plenty cold as well as soothing and very moisturizing. The Arctique aftershave smells lovely but it never interferes with any fragrance, and it’s lethally cold, yet it feels so good on the skin. The new Shark blade from Egypt helped to give me an awesome three pass BBS shave!

Wishing you all a great week!

Thank for the warning Jeff. That is one I'll be staying away from. I think I'm getting ready for glacial but not 3 times the menthol.

All the Glacial soaps have three times as much menthol as the regular menthol soaps. :)

By the way, I don't mean to imply that everyone reading this is a wiseguy.

Yes indeed you're right. But it's a take on SDM, right?
