  3. Man....I've tried 3 times in the past year to like/use Tapatalk, only for TSD. Tapatalk just doesn't jive with my brain thought process (non linear weird). The last time I tried it, just a couple weeks ago, they had a 3 month trial for the pro version. Couldn't even go a week before I gave up.

One other thing I couldn't make work with TT, can't use TSD board's emoticons. Probably me and missing a setup step.

I oscillate between a Mac desktop and either an iPad/iPhone. Using Safari on all....everything works for my brain weirdness and how I jump around reading/posting (save for the occasional TSD slowdown like Joseph mentioned). About the only part I dislike about Safari on portable devices is how pathetically slow I am at typing!:angry019:

  4. For the most part I'm just used to using Tapatalk. I also like how easy it is to post pictures. It does the resizing for me. I don't get to see most of the emoticons though. I just see see the text such as happy088. I have no idea what that actually is.

  7. Gary, I use my Mac or office pc to post my SOTD and photos. I use SmugMug ( I pay an annual fee mostly to store all the photos from the girls over the years) to host my photos so you might have one additional step. I write down the basics of my SOTD and save them in word. I get the link from Smug Mug and add it to the word document then copy and paste. You could do the same with a word document and just copy and paste while uploading your photo to TSD.

  8. I like the way Tapatalk handles pictures and allows me to upload photos. Works really well on vacation and such. It used to be much better for me but several forums I visit have stopped the link with TT.

This RR Hawk V3 is really growing on me. It’s just the right kind of heavy, feels great in hand, and with a Feather Super loaded delivers the shave goods consistently. This is my second complete shave with the razor, and unlike some other shave purchases, leaves me with no buyer’s remorse. It really is every bit the equivalent of AC razors going for three times the price of this one. I’m not sure how Italian Barber is able to deliver a 316L marine grade SS razor for $59.99 US, when the direct competitors are so much more expensive. This price is only slated to remain with this batch. The price will be increasing to $75-79 in the next production run.

I began my shave with my usual cold water rinse. I selected the Grooming Dept’s Unscented Donkey Milk Soap, and noticed when I opened the container that little granules of bentonite clay had formed throughout the soap. My @MrEE Hybrid Knotted Brush performed beautifully, despite the granules, and whipped up a nice, shiny, yogurty lather. The Hawk made short shrift of my whiskers in that first WTG pass with the hyper sharp Feather Super slicing things right down to the skin line. My second ATG pass easily put the baby to bed, leaving me with another effortless BBS. A cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH, Fine Accoutrements Fresh Vetiver AS Splash, and finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum left me feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed!
