Ell broke loose here! It's a real SHTF thing. But... I'm OK, as with all others here. Still practicing my technique. Was ask to grow a chin beard. Well.... I'm Cool.... Thanks for asking... Be back when time allows... tp Yea... that's realy me.
Great to hear from ya Terry! Future's so bright ya gotta wear shades! Hey....that's gonna irritate if you keep shaving the same area like that!
Sunday Shave: This was another razor I touched up on Suehiro 20k, the prior attempt was a fail so I am thrilled this time is a winner. The edge was smooth and sharp, so far 4 for on the last honing attempt with one more to be tested. The shave was excellent.
Wow! That is a gorgeous Koraat Keith. Love the blade etching and deep blue scales. Great looking Tabac shave, and nice results on the edge touch up.
Got real good at shaving the face with it. The head takes time, but I can do it. Even without the shades. tp
Very nice shave Keith! Although it's just my imagination running away with me, the blade looks like it shows a winter snow storm.
I remember you had trouble with the shavette. Great that you mastered the face. The hardest part is shaving the back of the head, but I know you will conquer it as well. Peace to you in this situation Terry!
Thanks Clint! Glad you had a good day. Thanks Jeff!! Thanks Tim! Just getting to talk on the phone with her was nice.

The Merry Mixed Up Month of May! May 10 Razor - 1918 Gillette Old Type Blade - Soap - Fine Italian Citrus Brush - The Canuck Post - Alum First of all, to everyone out there who has a mother - I hope you told them Happy Mother's Day!! If you never had a mother, I have questions for you. Seriously. I know some of you, like myself, had wonderful mothers who are no longer with us. Let's say Happy Mother's Day to them as well. They received their reward, and hopefully a little extra for putting up with the likes of us! After a no-shave Saturday I jumped back in and picked up the razor I did the first 5 days of the 30DC with in January 2015. It only took that long for me to give up because I was literally butchering myself. Way too aggressive a choice, so I made a change. To see what I changed to you can check THIS OUT - and it will also tell you my favorite blade and how long it's been my favorite! Another reason for choosing the 1918 right now is......I wanted to use a razor that was made during the last pandemic! From Spanish Flu to Covid-19 - this razor has seen it ALL!! I paired it with a Sputnik blade. St. Pete's is the origin of these blades and they have a long history. Gillette, of course, makes them in St. Petersburg. They're a Teflon coated blade that seem to be a bit of a cheap version of a Voskhod. They aren't bad at all, but don't have the staying power or sharpness of a Voskhod. Not a horrible Russian blade to have around, though. For the lather - Fine Italian Citrus and The Canuck. I don't believe I've ever showcased both the bowl and brush handle from @jtspartan together. Between him and @Jayaruh , I have lots of nice looking stuff. That's why I mention them often. Keeps me in their good graces. Seriously, they both do some pretty amazing wood work. Three passes to a near-BBS and I'm a happy camper. Got a day more or less off tomorrow so looking forward to that. Near freezing again tonight and then I think we can finally start Spring for real! Have a great Monday!!
