Today's haul from a local vintage/antique shop. Awesome Avon bottle on the left, "Tribute" cologne, not into the smell at all. Full bottle of Aspen aftershave on the right, smells really good. The dealer had an old, nearly full bottle of vintage Jovan Musk, asking $25, which I thought was a bit much. Any thoughts?
I've been enjoying my vintage President a great deal for quite some time. In fact, it's one of my top 2 or 3 vintage razors. I have backups of my other favorites, but I've been getting by with only one President. Well, that oversight ended today when I took delivery of this beauty.
Passed by a store while out running errands and thought I'd stop in. They had one left. Next up in the shave rotation.
'76 Executive Traveler Set. This is not a Schick distributed item, they just supplied the razor and blades for the set, secondly it wasn't made for the bicentennial in 1976 but in 1965 as seen in the booklet. Awesome Monday mail call. From Maggard Razors I got Le Père Lucien Oud Neroli shave soap. From the SFWS (South Florida Wet Shavers) I got this most epic raffle prize of various products from Edwin Jagger including a DE89 razor, a Southern Witchcrafts Autumn Ash shave soap and a hand made leather case for safety razors that I won from their virtual meetup.
