Wed 9th June The Grosvenor - 404 mixed Blues Shaving soap ES Claymore V1-Bulldog handle Kai CT Protouch MG [ 11 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion. I have had Eleven Shaves with this Razor/Blade combo with a variety of inexpensive soaps, that I know provide a decent lather. Though I had to keep replenishing the Blues soap , it still helped me get another most comfortable Shave with a rather good all round finish. I am not sure how the blade would fare if rushed, but it works well if slow deliberate strokes are used.

Fri 11th June Jayaruh Syn. No67 Tabac soap ES Claymore V1- Ikon Bull Dog handle Kai CT Protouch MG [ 12 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Despite tackling Two Days growth and Twelve outings on the Clock this Razor /Blade combo had no problems delivering an extremely close all round finish. I am totally won over by this guarded blade which has transformed the performance of the Claymore. I only wish I had the opportunity to try it out in some Razors I have passed on , such as a King Cobra and Mongoose.
Very nice shave with my beloved Valet Auto Strop, Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus soap followed by a generous splash of Clubman Classic:

Sat 12th June Stirling Syn.26mm OSP Bay Rum Yaqi Raster V2-Ikon B/Dog handle Kai CT Protouch MG [ 4 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion. Am continuing to trial the Kai guarded blade but this time in the Yaqi Raster. A nice close Shave, but I think that the Shave with one in my Claymore is just that bit smoother.
