1. Herre in Boston there's an ad for a place called Town Fair Tire. They pronounce it just like that, instead of what you would expect-"Tiyuh".
  2. We have Town Fair Tire also in Connecticut and we also say it the same as tire out.
  3. Though it gets rather embarrassing in church when the reader confuses the two words. OTOH it is rather funny when Jesus ends up arguing with the Saduccis (Saducees).

  7. My 16 yr old daughter works out 6 days a week, hard. Because she runs track, and likes to push herself. When she is picked up from school, approx 3 hrs after she ate lunch, many times she is in a foul mood, and all she says is "Get me some food, I'm Hangry".
    Hangry- so hungry it puts you in a foul mood, or angry mood.
    5 minutes after she eats, she is happy, and says she had a great day.

  19. I've heard a lot of folks use it when they mean "gondola". It's a type of railroad car, the basket/seat part of ski lifts, and even a type of small boat.
