And you know why they were called Sadducees? They didn't believe in the Resurrection, so they were sad, you see.
My 16 yr old daughter works out 6 days a week, hard. Because she runs track, and likes to push herself. When she is picked up from school, approx 3 hrs after she ate lunch, many times she is in a foul mood, and all she says is "Get me some food, I'm Hangry". Hangry- so hungry it puts you in a foul mood, or angry mood. 5 minutes after she eats, she is happy, and says she had a great day.
I've heard a lot of folks use it when they mean "gondola". It's a type of railroad car, the basket/seat part of ski lifts, and even a type of small boat.
Most of the time it is used incorrectly, but supposably is a word. https://www.merriam-webster.com/words-at-play/supposably-vs-supposedly
Back when I was growing up, the word "pissah" was commonly used to take place of "great". I didn't care for it, I just kept saying "great"...so what if I stood out in a crowd.
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing the link. I'm sure it will still drive me crazy when I hear it next lol.
Maybe, but what percentage of people use it properly, or even know the correct definition of "Supposably". I'm still on the fence with this one.
