The Cooper was especially friendly today; loaded with a once-used Sharp Star, even the ATG on the neck was satisfying. It should be noted that Primo did everything in his power to keep the touch feather-light and imagined wiping off the lather other than shaving off the whiskers. My home-made Bay Rum w/Lime is a winner of a stank.

Your W. Indies Bay Rum does what Stephan B.R. does, in a way. Stephan can be used for the scalp and skin, as well as for an aftershave. I just use it for the latter.
March 4, 2024 Asylum Injector Razor Alpha Shaving 400 Schick Proline Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Shave Soap Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Principe Real Aftershave Happy Monday. Another short weekend in the books. I decided to go with the Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Shave Soap for the next 5 days. If I am enjoying it at the end of the 5 days then I will continue with it for the next 3017 target. I found the soap to be very easy to lather with a nice woodsy citrus scent. Like many soaps from the EU the scent is more subtle but. Take care and have a great day.
The company is fairly big in Portugal. The company makes, shave soaps, creams, aftershaves and colognes among other things. The jar is about the diameter of the MdC jar. If I go forward with this soap, I expect I will move it to another bowl for ease of use.
Monday, March 4 AoS Sandalwood~~Simpson PL8~~2011 Mühle R41/Sharp Star~~Thor's Hammer Bay Rum w/Lime AS A great test of one's shaving technique is to shave with a VERY aggressive razor with only one day's growth. The 2011 R41 ranks right up there with the real beasts. I passed the test with flying colors. I wish the Thor's Hammer had some better staying-power, because it's a nice juice.

I had a very productive day in the office yesterday. Now I just need to string several such days together in order to dig myself out of this hole. Another great shave to start the day. Tuesday, March 5 AoS Sandalwood~~DG B14 Washington~~2011 Mühle R41/Sharp Star/Weber Bulldog~~St Johns Cutlass The AoS continues to serve. The R41 saw an opening and took it. Bit. Recovered my composure and completed the shave sans problems. The Cutlass is a very nice stank.

Wednesday, March 6 AoS Sandalwood~~Hucklaration B5~~Feather DX/Schick Proline~~St Johns Indian Gold Y'all can clearly see that I have quite a few shaves remaining with the AoS. Thankfully, it's a wonderful product. Boys, I am officially out of shape with my Feather DX. This sucker stuck in my skin on an upward pass, right at a skin fold. That'll teach me not to skin stretch. That it didn't bleed is either a miracle, or I have severe hardening of the arteries. The St Johns is a powdery stank. SWMBO approves.
Another one bites the dust! This tub of Striling is official done. An enjoyable soap but not on the same level as my last 3017, tallow Tabac. For the coup d'grace I went some big hitters: A Varlet brush, a big Grim Butcher 8/8 blade and capped if off Kouros. An epic shave and a perfect ending.
