Friday and Today- Friday saw the end of the Mikes. A great soap and an enjoyable focus. A full house the past few days with birthdays and Xmas. Haven’t touched base in a few days. Today? Went with the fave Fine L’Orange Noir puck…very, very close to the TdH original, and an amazing lather. The NEW LC is a great razor. I have no idea how it performed with the original blades it was intended for, but modern thin SS blades? Magic. I’ll start a Fine focus in a few weeks, but will enjoy some variety until then. Enjoy the holidays, all.

Tuesday, December 26 I Coloniali~~Semogue 2012 SE Mistura~~Gem Clog-Pruf/Gem~~Kiehl's Original Musk Blend No. 1 The Clog Pruf, while nice on the eyes, lacks an intuitive angle. I still have the tag that recommends laying the top flat against the skin, however, the blade barely makes contact. I seem to have better results when I lay the front edge of the top cap on the skin. Perhaps, that what they meant... The I Coloniali is being quite uncooperative. It's spinning in the container and breaking into pieces. It looks like a Dr. Frankenstein creation. I will stick with it until the bitter end, but I mos def® regret having removed the puck from the terra cotta container and pressing it into my Aesop bowl. User error.
December 26, 2023 Feather AS D2 Feather PAA ShaveRite 210 WSP Ol’ Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic [ Whew what a day What a day with an early morning shave and an early evening post. I am just murdering this soap while producing purely decadent lathers. This morning's shave was another boring automatic drama free shave which are my favorite kind.
