Is tallow based better?

    I have had good results with tallow and non tallow shave soaps. I do prefer tallow bath soaps a bit more for some reason.

    yes,tallow is better for me .there are some really good non tallow soaps though.

    Tallow soaps are definitely slicker and they generally lather better. At least to me.
