Thank you so very much!! It's the helplessness and second guessing your every move that eats in you in sleep and your waking moments. I'm still waking in the night and checking on her. Have plans in the first weekend in August to go to a B&B.
Reminds me of the scene in The Rockford Files when Dennis(the policeman and Rockford's friend)thought he had enough time to do an electric shave from his desk but just as he plugged it in, his phone rang so he had to stop. Work trumped his personal hygiene.
