For her, she lost two days and got out of the hospital in day four ..... scared the snot out of me. But she's a stubborn little Irish / Italian lady with a heart of gold ..... not only is she back home; she's back working. Though I told her only part time for a while.
These experiences are so awful. They can gnaw at your gut. It’s great to hear that your wife is feeling better every day since then. Go make some memories!
Thank you so very much!! It's the helplessness and second guessing your every move that eats in you in sleep and your waking moments. I'm still waking in the night and checking on her. Have plans in the first weekend in August to go to a B&B.
Reminds me of the scene in The Rockford Files when Dennis(the policeman and Rockford's friend)thought he had enough time to do an electric shave from his desk but just as he plugged it in, his phone rang so he had to stop. Work trumped his personal hygiene.
