With the cooler weather and variety break in my 2024 3017 quest I decided to load up a fresh puck of Tabac. Yes it is the legendary tallow version. The shave was excellent with fine German steel to celebrate the new Tabac puck. Of course since it is the first shave Tabac stank too. I went to my local store and was shocked to see what I thought was exclusive to Piggly Wiggly, a fine spirit indeed....Fireball whisky. I have only seen this once before in the Gurley Alabama Piggly Wiggly. I wonder if this is a cheep Chinese fake?
Been there, done that. Hence the need to load a fresh puck. Given the shave apocalypse has begun with then end of MWF and Tabac tallow editions I need to conserve my Tabac hoard.

Well in seeking variety from my Catie’s Bubbles 3017, I lathered up today with some Stirling Lemon chill. I observed a few things: 1. It is Stirling, so the lather and slickness are awesome. 3017ing lesser soaps allowed me to forget how good Stirling is. 2. It is chillier than I remember and more so than I enjoy. 3. The scent of lemon and menthol reminds me too much of cough drops to continue. Sadly, this one may hit the bin prematurely and become an unexpected 3017.
