Marsh Bros & Bond Works Roxo 5/8 cubancigar2000, here's a common old razor. I paid $49 for a cased pair of these off of ebay, honed them on lapping film and they shave great.
Don't take my comment as anything but pure envy!! I have a few nice ones also and sometimes I pick up one of the cheapos and am blown away by the shave
It's a sweety Kevin. When I found at a swap meet it I couldn't tell if it had ever been honed. It had a nasty twist in it's spine that required some finesse to straighten. It then honed up nicely and is truly a great shaver. Probably my best shaving W&B.
i managed to sneak one more final SR shave in last night before this morning's surgery. Having just finished the restore on a little 2-inch Larkin, I honed it last night and put it to the test. A bit small for my big mitts, but the shave was very smooth. Quite a different experience than when shaving with the big Rodgers (shown below with the Lil' Larkin)…
5/8 Size-Gold Bearded Lady SS (Beer Soap Brewing Co.) homemade boar Nice shave this morning. Have a good one.
Toyo 665 London Skies - Beer Soap Brewing Co. homemade badger Fine Clean Vetiver Very nice shave this morning. I think I'll run through my badgers for the rest of the week. Have a good one.
5/8 Garland Improved Eagle Half Hollow . This lil' razor suits me right down to the ground, from the classic plain black celluloid scales and white wedge to the patina on the old carbon steel blade. Consistently smooth shaves without any distracting bling-bling - that'll do me!
