Tried The Soap Exchange's formulation from several months ago. Alas, no lasting lather. So used the frankensoap for the last time and finished up a 2 pass shave with the Gillette New razor. I have to decide what to use tomorrow. Time to head to the magic shoe box.

Prep: warm wash and cornhusker's lotion
    Lather: frankensoap
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M
    Razor: Gillette New LC
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2)
    Post: Old Spice aftershave

The MITA soap is indeed cold, but you should try a Glacial soap. You'd feel like you need to put on a fur coat while shaving!

Are you applying the TSD stick directly to your face, using it as a stick?

He sent me some Frozen Tundra too. Any idea how they one is?

My experience is with Glacial Obsidian (menthol & anise). H/t to @ram57!

I also find TSD Iced Subzero to be very cold...and then there are Tears of joy!

Sure am. Added a little more after the first pass but not sure I had to. It didn't explode like Arko but it makes really nice lather.

    Menthol Monday
The beast easily whipped up the Krampert's while Proraso White cooled and prepped my stubble. The lather was almost too much - I could have made five passes. I pulled out the SC101 for the first time in a while and it worked great. Mild and easy going. I like the feel of the brush in my hand - at first I thought it was too heavy, but I like heavy razors, so the brush fits in. The aftershave compliments the scent and cold of the soap very well.
    Prep: Proraso White
    Soap: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    Brush: Brothers Bristles Beast Plisson
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Voskhod
    AS: Krampert's Finest Frostbite

Where did you get your brush handle?
I wonder if it would work on one of Larry's Knots?

My brother makes them from solid aluminum.
It could be made to fit any knot.

They are great handles. I did take the time to sand and polish mine up and I fit one of Larry's High Mountain knots in mine.
