    Oh, read my new SoS thread - there's enough menthol in my shave for tomorrow to make a polar bear want to move to somewhere in the Caribbean! ;)

    Schick E2 Injector with Schick blade (6),
    Semogue 1305 boar bristle brush,
    lather-up with C.O. Bigelow – shave 1 pass with touch-up,
    finish with cold water, Witch Hazel
    and Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve for a CCS!

    Tried The Soap Exchange's formulation from several months ago. Alas, no lasting lather. So used the frankensoap for the last time and finished up a 2 pass shave with the Gillette New razor. I have to decide what to use tomorrow. Time to head to the magic shoe box.

    Prep: warm wash and cornhusker's lotion
    Lather: frankensoap
    Brush: Vie-Long 13061M
    Razor: Gillette New LC
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2)
    Post: Old Spice aftershave

    The MITA soap is indeed cold, but you should try a Glacial soap. You'd feel like you need to put on a fur coat while shaving!

    My experience is with Glacial Obsidian (menthol & anise). H/t to @ram57!

    I also find TSD Iced Subzero to be very cold...and then there are Tears of joy!

    Sure am. Added a little more after the first pass but not sure I had to. It didn't explode like Arko but it makes really nice lather.
