Blue Shave My brother-in-law has been a Detroit Police officer for sixteen years and has never needed to fire his weapon. I suspect most officers are similar. We usually only hear about bad cops in the media, and those bad cops need to go so good cops don't get smeared. The shave was a very good one. A little rough since I neglected to change the blade, pushing it to four uses. The CB lathered up instantly and thickly. The AQ has a nice cool and I added some CRSW Jd'O balm for comfort. Prep: Mickey Lee Lime Soap: Catie's Bubbles LMR Brush: HIS Razor: Fatboy 9-7-7 Blade: Voskhod (4) AS: Aqua Velva Ice Sport; Cold River Soap Works Jardin d'Orange balm
FRIDAY Took a ride early this morning with the vintage Cadillac from C-MON. As always, a very smooth journey as the C-Mon was extremely comfortable around even the most challenging curves and rough patches. Overall, a very pleasurable ride that took me right to the edge of BBS territory! Have a blessed Friday, everyone!

The Black Amber just exploded from the #6 brush into a wonderful lather. I had enough lather for 10 passes. The Star paired with the GEM blade and the Velvet Shaver did a fantastic job. The Nivea ASB and the Prada were a fine finish for this 2 pass almost BBS shave. Have a blessed day!

T&H Lavender Cream Savile Row 3184 Brush Gem G-Bar Gem SS (1) T&H After Shave Balm Note to self: Forgot PSO again but had better lather the second time out with the Savile Row and used a milder razor. New blade also stropped about 30 times on a towel. Managed to avoid typical new blade weepers but the cold water splash revealed some mild burns.

Razor: Gillette Slim (k3) 1965 (5) (3) Brush: Vintage Ever-Ready 675 badger Mug: Old Spice (late glass Mug 04) 1970s -1992 The last OS Mugs Soap: Pre de Provence Shea Butter soap Blade: Feather (2) Post shave:T.N. Dickerson’s Witch Hazel, Jack Black balm, Florida Water cologne I prefer creams over soap, but I use this one on occasion. It takes more time to build a lather, and frankly I don't like to spend the extra time, blooming the soap, then filling the brush and then finally getting it into the mug. Built a nice lather with the Erer-Ready Badger, and the original knot works well with the soap. With the Feather in the slim I glided thru my beard in 2 passes WTG, XTG. My technique is getting better on my neck with ATG on 3. Nice and smooth DFS. The T.N. Dickerson's WH felt good on my face and that natural witch hazel scent was nice and fresh. After cleaning my razor and a little spray of isopropyl alcohol to help dry the innards, I smoothed on some Jack Black. Some nice Florida Water cologne, to remind me the Summer is still here. Have a good one y'all.

Update for this mornings shave results. All of the above products and methods were used I added my "Neutrogena Men Invigorating Face Wash" instead of the Jason Tea Tree Soap. I ran out of it so it will not be replaced, They don't carry it anymore at the Pharmacy. I got such BBS-DFS results that I am so happy that I have "Butterfly's, Rainbows and Unicorns ! Bubbling out my Butt!"
