    Gillette Super Speed Y3
    Vulfix Super Badger (660)
    Proraso Sandalwood cream
    Pinaud Clubman Original

Shave #3 with the 3rd Gillette Silver Blue in my Birth Quarter Super Speed.
Face lather and 1 pass XTG/ATG. Great reduction. I wet my face and neck and did a small amount of touch up where I could easily feel stubble. This gave me a near BBS. A cold water rinse followed by a small amount of touch up and I thought I had the baby. The Pinaud Clubman stung at first, but settled down.

A nice comfortable one pass near BBS from the Gillette Silver Blue in my Birth Quarter Super Speed. About 30 minutes after the shave a spot under my right jaw line that I hardly ever have trouble with showed up. Apparently I was so focused on getting my usual trouble spots smooth, that I neglected this one. Yesterday's shave was so long lasting, it almost felt like I didn't even have my 5:00 shadow this morning. I thought about waiting to shave for a few hours, but decided against it. I expect the travel box to arrive today. If it does, I'll be experimenting tomorrow morning. ;)

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Razor – Mongoose B2 with Hempel Ti
Blade – Feather Super Pro (3)
Brush – Rubberset 400 with Omega 49 Boar
Lather – Strop Shoppe Baker Street
Post - Witch Hazel and Fine Platinum

Going back to the Mongoose for the next 6 shaves continuing with the comparison with the Wolfman. I realized it had been a while since I used a boar brush so I decided to give this Rubberset 400 some love. I restored this brush with a knot from an Omega Pro 49 brush. The big boar whipped up the Baker Street to a slick and protective lather in short order. Loaded with a Feather Super Pro and a little more time than usual, I went with a 3 pass shave and some touch ups around my chin. The resulting shave is exceptionally close. I do not think I could do a 3 pass shave on a daily basis with this set up but it is nice for a change of routine. I did end up with one weeper just to the right of my lip. Let's call it operator error. Overall closeness A+ and irritation A-. Finished with a splash of Fine Platinum. Hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Prep: Hot Shower. Axe Energizing Face Wash Boost
    Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Junior #49
    Blade: Astra SP
    Lather: Gingers Garden Rose Petals
    Brush: RazoRock Plissoft
Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate
    Aftershave: Gingers Garden Osmanthus
First shave with the Aristocrat Junior, excellent shave!! Great quality, weight, a bit more aggressive than the Aristocrat. This razor feels so good in my hand. Astra SP's aren't my favorite blades, they get the job done but I'm not a fan of them. Not as sharp as Personna Lab Blues. YMWV. Gingers Garden Rose Petals. Simply. Awesome.

B-3 Mongoose UFO Titan Fine XL
    Feather Pro Super #4
    @clint64 Rubberset 400 Manchurian
    MDC Fougere
Alum, Witch Hazel +Menthol, Whipped Shea Butter
    Fine Platinum

An excellent Saturday Shave, 2 Passes +clean up = near BBS. This blade was short lived, maybe I lost count, and regardless I changed to a new Pro Super. They give me the closest shave in the Mongoose. MDC is my favorite, quick loading, soaps easily, and gives me a great slick creamy lather. No sting Alum followed by super chilly WH, and Whipped Shea Butter, which has the best face feel of all my Shea Butters.
Hope all are on they’re way to a great weekend. Stay frosty my friends.

Aftershave: Jabonman Dama de Noche Balm (w/ Menthol)

Got my new soap and aftershave in from Spain, and picked it up this morning before my shave. The name of the soap changed from Jabonman to Eufros, but it’s the same awesome stuff. Lathers easier than Arko, and the jasmine smell of this is awesome. Did a two pass shave with the razor, and just focused on the feel and sound of the razor cutting as I wiped away the lather. I have been using too steep of an angle, because today had it a little higher, and it worked better. A crop of weepers under the chin reminded me not to use pressure, but overall the best shave I have gotten with the pain stick. Two or three whiskers short of a BBS on a two pass shave. Alum was bad under the chin, but fairly quiet on the rest of my face. The Jabonman aftershave balm was awesome, with just enough menthol to be awesome. Overall A- on closeness, and B- on irritation. Getting better.

Unrelated note, getting my loaner straight and strop back. May have two sets to loan out if anyone wants to try them.
  13. How did you go about ordering that soap and balm?
  14. A soap that lathers easier then Arko? Does it lather itself while complimenting your shave technique?

    Aristocrat Focus November 14:

    Homemade PS Oil
    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Gatlinburg SS
    Gillette Aristocrat
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Stirling Gatlinburg AS

With the cooler weather finally hitting, I went for a warm shave this morning. The Gatlinburg was up to the task, and the Aristocrat really took care of the stubble. I nice two pass DFS. The Cartel should be pleased, as I have used only Voskhod, Polsiver, and now Rapira blades so far this month. The Aristocrat has liked them all.
