WEDNESDAY I had such an enjoyable first shave with this large Fenney 'Tally-Ho' yesterday that I treated myself to a repeat performance this morning. Two dozen laps on the Tony Miller strop. The razor is really a pleasure to use, despite the minor nick on the chin I managed to give myself! Thick n' slick menthol-bombed lather with a terrific scent from Route 66 'Cavendish' (think 'woodsy/tobacco' smell). A 'cedar/citrus' finish from the Musco Real No. 3 aftershave. The 1305 is finally starting to break-in. Actually played 18 holes of golf today. Plan on playing 18 more tomorrow. This will end in a hurry.

The TSD soap made a nice lather. I added a bunch of menthol crystals to the sample so it is cold enough to make a Eskimo cry. Finished the shave off with Brisk which has a nice amount of menthol as well. Hope everyone has a great shave!

A nice shave without any menthol for Thursday: Stirling Pre-Shave Soap Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Derby day 4 Brutalt Bra SS Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer Booster Mosswood AS Aramis EdT It's time for me to start showing my non-mentholated stuff some more love because they definitely deserve it. The Brutalt Bra is such a great soap - a very nice scent, lots of lather which whips up so easily, and a good post-shave feeling that feels very comfortable as well as smooth. The Booster Mosswood aftershave is a fantastic Canadian classic that a lot of barbershops use and it's one old-school scent which I really love. My Derby blade is performing so well for me lately!
Thursday Christmas Eve Day Planned SOTD Hoping for a DFS+++ with this, to me, precious setup. First use of the new bowl! Will properly not have time to post much, if any, tomorrow.
