It is not TTO (twist-to-open). It is rather snap-to-close. :) I agree, the profile is similar to a three piece.
If you do not pay attention how and when you spin, the both edges of your blade will be used equally in the long run.

TTO is an ingenious design, but nothing beats a classic - a three-piece DE razor, IMHO. The beauty is in simplicity and cost-efficiency.
You should be fine, but I would not bother to get anything worth a few dollars out of toilet ...
Viruses cannot survive on a metal razor for more than a few days. The cleaning you have done most likely killed all bacteria. Enjoy and do not worry.
