Gillette Advertising/ promotional old style “Use ivory soap” I scored this one in a lot purchase. I’ve seen pictures of other ad/promo old style with national oil and Coca Cola. I understand they may be 1920-1928 given no serial number. I am more interested in the ones stamped on bottom plate vs. etched head cap advertising razors. What other promo/ advertising razors did Gillette make? Pictures please Mine came with silver plated ball end handle with nickel plated head. It’s possible it’s a Frankenstein razor or was It normal to mix platings, handle / head? any idea on how many were produced for each promo? Or any other info on these Promo old style razors?
it was the early co-operation with Procter & Gamble, the manufacturers of Ivory Soap. Since 2005 is Gillette a part of P&G
