Don't think it would take much. The insert that holds the goodies is just styrofoam with the corresponding shapes cut out for each item. The main piece(s) would be the case and what kind of material you use. A case like this in leather would be extra sweet.
Having just done a similar project for my company, ordering Binders, Sample boxes, etc. I can tell you that Holden Binder can do something like that. If you wanted to replicate the case and you did all the artwork yourself using photoshop or adobe illustrator, and you ordered 100 of them, you might be able to pull the price down to $50 a set. (Cost). That would include outer and inner cardboard boxes, instructions, styrafoam and the vinyl case. The vinyl case by itself would cost $20-30 each at 100 pcs. though that price would drop down to $15-25 per hundred after that. (I figured the cost of the die would be included in the first run.) All prices are a rough estimate- but I think I'm pretty close to the mark. Simple answer: A phone call, purchase order and deep pockets. IAmTheJody, leather would be sweet! and add $$ to the price. (Sorry, I didn't price the leather)
If you watch the programs on TV about "The Hoarder next Door" - it becomes a little easier to believe that things like this go unused. Some people just constantly buy stuff, and never, ever open or use it. Bit like collecting razors I suppose
