Isn't it great! I remember filling up and paying almost $20.00 for my bike, that was insane. The forecast is for -20 this weekend so I may have to cage myself. Here's my, go anywhere do anything, two wheeler last spring.
Nice Ride! -20? Damn...that would call for heated gear and I sure don't have $800 for it. I'm not even sure my bike could handle the electrical load. Will your bike turn over in -20? I'd love to have a BMW GS1200 Adventurer.
I've never tried to start it at that temperature. It groans but does well down to 5 or so. That reminds me I need to change the oil to 10w30 this weekend! I looked at Beemers when I got this in 2002 and they just won't handle trails like I needed, but they sure would be nice on the highway. At 300lbs the DRZ is nearly perfect for what I do.
Ya, I hear a lot of good things about the DRZs. I'm a slab hound with some twisties on the side and the occasional ranch road so my priorities are different.
Went up by .02 to $1.52 at the station down the street. Dropped .02 to $1.51 at the station on the corner. Odd day.
We're paying 108 yen a liter, which comes out to about 3.61 a gallon...the cheapest it's been in AGES.
We in the states moan about our prices so much. We really need to remember what it costs overseas. I would still moan but would keep you in my heart.
I'll play I guess. Filled up the Bu last night for $1.53/gal. Less than 20 bucks. Four months ago it was costing me $50. Nice to see the energy crisis was resolved. Didn't even take very long.
