2015 Holiday Wish List

dear santa

as you know, i'm kind of a practical wet shaver.
i have a couple of razors, one new(ej89) and one vintage(ss flair tip). i have a couple of brushes, one boar(omega 10065) and one badger(ej best med).
astra sp/ss, israeli reds, and crystals are some of my fav blades. as you know, i'm pretty set on my astraSPs.
so, while i'm pretty set on hardware, my brushes are always open to dipping into good smelling software.
i'm not much into aftershaves and colognes these days as i tend to finish with some alum and regular witch hazel.
i do like my soaps and creams to be strong and lasting, though. in fact, that's probably the highlight of my list.
i tried a sample of tabac a while ago. it's awesome! ... but i still don't have any ...
i only have two or three lathers of proraso red remaining. so, some more of that or another sandalwood (tobs, salter) would do the trick.
it seems like i tend to like the earthy, incensy, spicy, kinds of scents.
so, some TSD (wheat cream, lanolin soap, or lanolin samples) sound aweful nice ... cedarwood, burmese woods, desert rose, indonesian teakwood, etc.

... and after all that ... surprises are sometimes the most fun!

 

Oh my goodness, where to begin

I believe Christmas is not about the many but about that one special thing.!

Something modern with soul, haven't had anything really click so far, they all feel more like utilities to me
Wilkinson Bonded Razor
Soaps, aftershaves etc..
I'm a college student so stuff lasts quite a while and I dont have the space for a bunch of stuff, also applies to razors.
The rolls razor cannot simply be chucked around XD

 

Looks like the time time has finally come always look forward to this secret Santa every year!!!

So here's my list:
I've never used an injector before so I would like to try that

Tsd aftershave milk
Any tsd soap/cream
Travel strop
Any type of strop pastes
As previous mentioned any type of injector schick....Gillette... User condition is ok with me
Old spice shaving mug
Any vintage soap
A pony
A football
And as Lucy best described it... What I really want is real estate

He can try, but he will not succeed. He is strong in the force, but not that strong.

The norse Santa does not come "lurking" down the chimney in the middle of the night. He usually comes knocking at Christmas eve and delivers the presents directly to the kids. Therefore he is not prone to do anything hockey related since he might hit one of the kids.
Furthermore he is more of a cross country skiier and not a typical team player.

 

I guess the Norse Santa is more 'into' telemarking than alpine skiing?

 

I want that from Santa, the French coffee press and some good 2 Fathom paint remover. aka coffee that would make my Dad proud. Coffee that will take the paint of of a U.S. Navy ship 2 fathoms below the water line. Or maybe some Ogallala Bay Rum after shave or maybe some Captains Choice Bay Rum or Cat-O-Nine Tails. Or some Duke Cannon Supply Co. Soaps.

 

Didn't know where to post this but I must have been a good lad this year as Santa dropped off some Wonderful Ginger Garden products that I had on my list: Brown Winsor and Havana Cognac in Tallow and matching Aftershave Splash.

I don't need brushes, blades, really... I like vintage Gillette but I'm set except for most of the pricey stuff really...

WOW, I just realized I am about at my shaving anniversary...I t was kind of santa who got me going into this, but VERY early....I feel that I have a good base and have kind of learned what I like and dont like, as well as tried so many things...I guess my "wish list" would look something like this:

Soaps/Creams
-anything Ginger's Garden
-anything TSD
-MWF
I have not tried any of them

Blades
-anything russian
-Gillette Platinum
-mostly I want the Gillette blues to complete my FB setup.
