I'm not worried. The Box has always been about giving away usable clutter more away than getting. Now that my daughter likes the Lady Gillette I got from a box maybe four years ago, it's been worth it even more.
@John Beeman here is the VDH brush you chose in use for my shave this morning . It will shed a couple of hairs here and there for me, but for the price, I'm not going to be too upset.
I started wet shaving with one of the green handled ones and wore it out. They shed a bit but I really like them. I've convinced myself that the blue handled ones and the white handled ones have better knots than the green handled ones but I'm not sure if they're actually different.
I have experience with the blue and the green handles. Never tried the white. I prefer the green over the blue, in all honesty. The green has she'd less than the blue, and has a better in hand feel. One day I'll try the white handle, just haven't seen one around anywhere.
I find the shedding seems to vary brush to brush. I've had some that shed a lot and some a little regardless of handle color. I looked to see if I had an extra white one to send you but I've only got one at the moment that's in my rotation. The only other one I have is part of a vintage Surrey kit with mug and soap so I don't want to break it up.
Box is ready to ship I just need to verify @Joewa 's address I pulled out the Merkur slant razor this morning and gave it a run with an Astra S/P. Nice razor. I'm keeping it for now.
Box got shipped out this morning so hopefully it will be at the next stop Monday or Tuesday. I’m already thinking about what I could possibly contribute if it goes around a second time. Thanks for letting me play along.

You don't happen to know who made the four matching boar brushes that were in the box when it got to me? I took one and have a sneaky suspicion you might know where they came from
The only matching brushes I have seen so far are the six blonde handle brushes I seeded the box with. These six brushes came from bestshave.net and were originally advertised as horse, but several years ago, folks here at TSD decided they must be boar.
I may be a novice at this whole shaving thing, but the brush sure felt like they were boar. The funny thing is, I have been using the crap out of that brush here recently.
I guessed wrong. I knew Keith made brushes so I took a guess. There were only four when I got the box and three when it left me. Nice little brushes and definitely boar.
