My grandmother sang a song to put me to sleep, 'Six little, five little, four little...' This is kind of epic. The Founding of the Traveling Box Boar brush Bearers!
Wow you all know how to pack a box.. General question to the next folks down the line.. Full Pucks or lots of samples?
I was planning on putting in a tub or two. I’m not quite sure on the pucks or the samples. I’d hate to take a full puck if someone else wanted to try it. But if my wife thought I smelled nice I don’t know that it would bother me!
I almost felt guilty for taking the whole tub of First Canadian but I put in enough other stuff to assuage my feelings.
I felt quite like ..... well like I matched my avatar, but even taking my initial desires ... the box was nowhere near closing. I figure, if good stuff goes in .... you're obligated to take good stuff out; it's the law.
Just my thoughts - this is well seasoned shavers. Full pucks might be more appreciated. Samples are great for a couple shaves to see if you like a soap and want to buy the full sized product. While in possession of The Box each person might scoop a suitable sample for evaluation. When you do choose a winner or three getting full sized containers (shy of sampling by prior folks) would be nice.
I have discovered the way of the box.. if you want to put something in you have to take something out... It has its own code.
Saga of the box thus far I have found I like Green mountain Soap Restored two EverReady brushes. Brought an old type back to life with the bulldog handle Figuring out if shea butter is one of those things that sets my face on fire or not with the pre provence shaving soap Eyeballing the Williams .. do i really need it ?
It's vintage Williams ... it's as traditional to shaving as a boar brush and aftershave ... just ask @wchnu . Fuzzy will tell you a day without Williams is like a day without sunshine. BTW Just don't bloom it ... sacrilege!
