Sounds like everyone is getting it all put together very nicely! Randy gets in around 6pm and I'll have him at the hotel shortly thereafter. Not sure when Adam is planning on showing up. I'll try to rattle his cage.

 

I’m in Denver right now, my flight back to Kansas City gets in about midnight tonight. I’ve got an hour of work at the office, then driving out by noon, so I should be there by around 430 or five. For sure want to get together for dinner.

I'm not sure if it's classified but it's a mystery to me. Adam dealt with the soap more than I did. My interactions with him and Rod amounted to........"is it done yet?". The answer to that is yes. The rest, we'll let you know.

 

We have Rod the name we wanted and free rein to come up with a scent. I will be surprised as everyone else on Saturday.

Programming note - Those of you wanting to get together this evening - I will not be joining you as I will be spending the evening with my wife for our anniversary. That will get me clear of the dog house and all will be well. Last year a few of us got together at Lewis and Clark's restaurant in St. Charles. Nice place, good menu. There are other options as well, of course, for both food and refreshment. I'm sure the hotel staff could make some recommendations as well. While I would love to meet everyone tonight before the main event, I'll just have to delay that until tomorrow morning. Well, except for Randy. We do have to hammer out the truce when he arrives. Damned rebels.

Breakfast is at 8:30 tomorrow morning. I'll get there a bit early and pull some tables together. By my count we should have around 10-13 people for that, and I have a reservation at Hendrick's for 12 at 6:30. They told me we will have two tables adjacent to each other. Fortunately the food there is marvelous. The reservation process, not so much as I remember from last year.

Let's do this!!

Programming note for those flying - Not sure how it might affect your flights but we have a huge line of T-storms moving into the STL area followed by rain and another line of T-storms. Welcome to the Lou, Summer 2019. Just a heads up to keep an eye on flight info as things may get messy at Lambert. Hopefully it will all clear and be gone before it messes anyone up.

 

Our flight starts boarding in 10 minutes. As of now "Current status: on time."
