Hi all! The box came Friday. Almost, but not quite, safe and sound. I didn't have time to open it right away. So, first the bad news. We have a casualty: Courtesy of USPS. The lid was off the Myrkvior sample, so I'm chucking that with the broken glass it's sitting in. Otherwise everything that was packed inside seems okay.
That’s disappointing. I bubble wrapped and packed the glass same as it arrived safely to me. Plus I replaced many of the plastic bags and sealed all of them. Hopefully it travels better going forward.
I almost took it for my son, but I found it too large, so in the end bought a medium one for him. I was surprised it survived as long as it did, but there is usually one or two thing that don't make it. It's not a reflection of your packing ability, more like the harsh environment of USPS.
Yes, characteristicaly quietly if course. I'll (finally) have a day off Monday and Tuesday. I'll get it on its way then. And thoughts and pix of course.

So then, here's my takes: I'm really trying to pare down the shaving soaps, but I did end up grabbing a couple. I don't have an insane amount of bath soaps though, so those are always welcome. Especially the Brut. I didn't see the press on nails. They get taken? I thought I'd give those to my granddaughter.
And the gives: The brush was sent to me by mistake, from Turkey. I already have one like it, in a different color. I contacted the seller and he sent me the right brush, no fuss. Fantastic brush if you like massive boars. The Eversharp blades are not recommended for shaving. They might have been awesome a few decades ago, but not lately. I was thinking more like someone can use to complete a set.
Glad to see that the box arrived safely. Hope you’re enjoying your time with it and remember that there’s no rush, but we do enjoy pics!
