Great setup and shave Gary! I like the darkness of the pic. It's very reminiscent of an Alfred Hitchcock film noir.

    Good afternoon.

    Shavette Shave #450
    Parker SRB
    Laser 1/2 DE Blade (3)
    JR #386 Silvertip Badger Brush
    Stirling Triumph SS
    Fine Accoutrements Platinum AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs

It's the last shave of the month so I decided to make it a good one. I brought out the Stirling Triumph sample, the Parker Shavette and my favorite brush and that's the JR #386 Silvertip for this shave.

I usually don't use my natural hair brushes for bowl lathering because it is a little more work, but I decided to do it for a change of routine. As you can see, I made a decent lather:

I did a 2.5 pass error-free shave that gave me a very near BBS result. I had a decent amount of alum feedback on my neck, but sometimes it happens. Double-splashed the FA Platinum aftershave to finish the month on a high note. Take care.

We had a very enjoyable day and I did hit up a few antique store and only found one razor....an overpriced Tech which I left it where it was.

Thanks Chris. I've been very pleased with my Yaqi brushes. Most of them I have caught on sale. Their two band badgers are excellent.

    Take care.

Well, you can't always get a homerun, Danny. However, I will say you have had many, many scores that you have made over the years.

Hi Joe, My first Arko was a shaving stick bought locally which I grated and added too much AS to, so I have binned this.

My second Arko product is the tub I have been using in April. Interesting because when I ordered some Stirling soaps from a outlet in Spain they added the Arko as a bonus/freebie! So now I have a chance to get to know my Stirling soaps!

Arko was a bonus, now to get to know my Stirling soaps

Glad you were able to procure some Stirling soaps. You will find that's it's an excellent soap.
