I'm working on a sample pack now. And I am actually keeping a loose journal on what I like and don't. Treets, Trig's and Lord's are leading. Astra wasn't a favorite, although I know they're popular. And Feathers...well, not right now!

@brit, thank you for the welcome as well. I'm a big Old Spice guy. Smells so nostalgic. Smells like my father's, my uncles, my friends father's, our grandfather's etc etc! It never goes out of style for me. I keep a decent supply on hand

It was time to do a headshave with my face shave this morning. 3 passes on the dome with the GEM Micromatic gave me a cueball smooth result without any leakage. Did 2.5 passes on the face and neck and I got a near BBS without leakage.
I picked Stirling Spice because it's a great scent and lathers well. Here's my lather:



The alum feedback was negligible on the dome, face and neck. Applied the witch hazel and the marvelous matching aftershave to end this nice session. Take care.

 

I had the same shave as yesterday, but for the

Brush-The Clubman Pinaud.

A little harder to work with this brush. You might say it loads quicker, but you just don't get too much. Still a fine shave. Clean and clear along the cheeks, sideburns, South Porcupine, and all of Cactus. Developed a couple painless Knicks at N.W. Porcupine. As I had hoped, the cold water rinse calmed things down. I suppose the Clubman aftershave helped in this persuasion too, as it is "Cooling" after all(but not like Aqua Velva or Osage). Pretty Outstanding(which translates to shiulda been better, but I'll take it).
