Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 49 Pro.
Face Lather.
Lather: Palmolive Classic Shave Sticks (Grated)
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum. (D2)
Razor: King C Gillette.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Attraction ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Another excellent shave where everything worked together superbly.

Passes = 3+
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers,
ASL = PR Barbe Dure with Agar Oil
Scent = Arabian Sunset EdP
Score = 9+++, 90% BBS, can't complain
Minor scrape lower right chin during the 1st pass….pressing too hard, healed itself by the end of the shave

Thank you Chris...The Red 49 Pro gave a wonderful performance this morning. I've placed an order for a Semogue 1250 Pure Bristle Shaving Brush (connaughtshaving.com) as another pre birthday present to be placed next to my Omega 10005.

 

That will make a great addition to your collection. I am a bit sad that my Pura Setola labelling/print has started to come off. Might need a coat of varnish if I ever replace it. Do you plan to leave yours as is?

 

All of the labels have came off my Omega 48 & 49's pro's. I may give the labels on my Omega 11137 & 10005 a coat of varnish just to preserve them & the Semogue 1250 if needed. It's only cosmetic/superficial I suppose, but It will preserve/prolong both the labels and more importantly the brush handles.

A nice shave on this Throwback Thursday.The Proraso Shave Foam continues to exit as a squiggly snake, but soon changes over to a cloud. Looks, feels, and smells great after application to the face and neck. While I struggled a little with N.W. Porcupine(under right nostril), the rest was solid. Goose-eggs across the board on cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. One pass. Super Duper Outstanding.

 

My personal choice would be semigloss/silk or matt. Gloss highlights things too much, semigloss/silk or matt looks more natural.
