I had my Omega Pro 49 label come off my brush years ago. That's the only negative thing that I can say about the brush.

I Absolutely agree with you on that. Both my Omega 48 & 49's Pro's where some of my first proper shaving bryshes, which will always have a place in my brush rotation.

    DE Shave # 524

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Ming Shi Futur Clone
Blade: Suneko Amorphous Diamond SS (2)
Brush: Leo Frilot Custom NYR 26 mm Synthetic
    Pre-Shave: Pears Transparent Soap
    Lather: WTF Vintage Barbershop
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva (Spanish)
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Another fine shave this morning. Fabulous WTF lather softened the whiskers and the Suneko blade took care of it in an efficient fashion. Three more shaves with the soap. Given my format for the month, it will meet the Edmund Fitzgerald Wednesday morning.

Hope you all have had a great day.

I receive the Semogue brush as a birthday gift from my son in January. Great little brush. I will feature it in tomorrow’s shave.

Great shave set up Joe. I'll have to give my Ming Shi Futur Clone a run I haven't added to my razor rotation for quite a while. + 1 on the Aqua Velva (Spanish) it's one of my favourite aftershaves.:love055:

I came back with the Proraso team again for today. I began by squeezing out more foam than usual-trying to copy the video fellas(go ahesd, call me a copycat). It really makes a good differece when you do that, though. Fine shave overall. I did leave a little too much on the right sideburn. No other problems. I think with Prorasa, a LOT goes a long way. Probably true with most foams and creams. Nice finish with the aftershave. Most Outstanding.

    Good morning.

    Straight Razor Shave #537
    The Unknown Straight Razor
    Rockwell Synthetic Brush
    Stirling Spice SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Personal Care Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 40 hrs

    20240403_223131.jpg

I decided to use another straight razor that was given to me by my anonymous benefactors. Unfortunately, I can't make out the brand on the tang because it's well-worn. Did a three pass shave that gave me a an in-between DFS and a BBS result without any red leakage. I will remove this blade to get it feeling smoother and sharper. Otherwise, it did a decent job.
I picked Stirling Spice because I haven't used it for some time. I usually shave with it when I have a social outing because it does smell nice. However, it's good to use it even on days when nothing is happening because this scent puts me in a nice mood and that's a great way to start any day. Here's my lather using the SharpShaver bowl:

I have used this bowl for an entire week and I am impressed with it. However, I will give it a rest because my Dumbo bowl needs to make some appearances for the next couple of days. Lol!
There wasn't any alum feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Take care.
