Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10005.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Phoenix & Beau Star Noir Shaving Soap.
Blade: Astra SP. (Russia) (D1)
Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head./Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./Ard Al Zafran Dirham Oud EDP.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend.

A great performance from the Yaqi DOC Mellon/Astra SP duo providing me with an acceptable smooth near BBS combined face & head shave. The in-expensive Yaqi Mellon DOC razor head pairs together with the weighty Schmidt R10 handle wonderfully making a well balanced Frankenrazor which feels solid and comfortable to use.

The Astra SP was a joy to use mowing down my face & head stubble with effortless ease. I can't believe that I haven't added them to to my DE blade rotation for such a long time

A close efficient face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Ard Al Zafran Dirham Oud EDP to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are both feeling smooth and smelling divine.

A wonderful shave set up Chris to start the weekend off superbly. I like the Astra Superior Stainless equally the same as the Superior Platinum, both are a great match for the Merkur 37C.

 

A scare developed near the end of the first pass-in the form of a nasty cut. No blood spillage at least, just a Knick on steroids, which qualifies as a cut. It calmed down some during the second pass, and was weakened during the cold-water rinse and aftershave application. typing the report now, it almost looks as though it never happened. But it did. Real nice job the rest of the way, with that Razorock XXX milled soap. I had to "reload" the brush for the second pass. The feature of this shave soap is its glass jar. Even though the cut recovered well enough, I give myself a Pretty Outstanding for having the problem in the first place.

I was overdue for a headshave by a half day so I brought out my Fatboy that was loaded with a relatively new blade. I only needed 2 passes on my face and two passes on my dome plus touch-ups for an error-free BBS result all around. Joe C. @JACarbone piffed me the Soap Commander Vision Soap awhile ago, but it was the first time that I have used it. I have used Soap Commander before and it produces a nice lather, but their scents are mild. Today's Soap is no exception. Here's my
lather with the Dumbo bowl back from vacation. Lol!



I might add that this is the first time that I have used this Parker Synthetic Brush. Again, I want to thank my 2 benefactors for sending it to me. It is a nice looking addition to my den and it does make a nice lather.

I didn't have any alum feedback. Splashed on the witch hazel and the Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave to finish this session. I feel fresh .and clean. I am ready to hit the gym. Take care.
