You are welcome. I appreciate your friendship here. Fortunately, I was able to contact 2 of them. I miss Perry and Chris from Alabama and Rick and Blair from Texas. Some have moved on for various reasons and I get it. I have always said that anyone can come back as long as they weren't banned from this site and that includes the members who don't see eye-to-eye with me. I am too old to hold grudges.

I'll hold a grudge until it dies of old age, and then I'll have it stuffed and mounted.

Luckily, it's extraordinarily difficult for me to get that worked up over anything.

Great shave Ryan. I need to get my Rolls out. I shaved with it one time and enjoyed it. The blade was not quite where it needed to he but it was doable. The engineering in those razors amaze me.

    Greetings,

    Early morning Shave.

Everything in my shave this morning paired together wonderfully.

SE razors truly are fantastic shaving tools....If i had known how wonderful smooth, & efficient SE razors where ,especially Injector razors when i first ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving i probably wouldn't have bought a DE razor as they provide and give everything i require for a close comfortable shave. , fitted with the Gem PTFE blades...My thanks again go to a fellow member of TSR forum (UK) for introducing me to them.

Another wonderful 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Tuesday August 9 - sort of Adjustable and Artisan August

Razor: Supply 2.0 matte black with SE comb plate / Supply Black Label (17)
    Brush: Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic
    Soap: MWF
Post: Osma alum, rinse, Portland General Store black willow bark toner

My last shave was last Tuesday, so exactly a week worth of stubble to mow. As usual, one pass did it. That at least gets me to a Socially Acceptable Shave of looking reasonably neatly clean shaven, which is all I need right now.

The blade is still doing fine. No complaints at all from the alum.

It is hot and muggy here, which always gives me a problem with skin oil and a bit of an acne flare-up. The PGS willow toner with its salicylic acid is just the ticket for that. I shaved after showering, then after my shave, I used a cotton pad to apply the toner not just to the area I shaved but to my entire face, chest and shoulders. Problem solved.

PGS made good all-natural products -- the toner and also an alpine-scented shave jelly that was quite nice. Pity they went out of business during the pandemic...

Hope everyone has a good week!

    Focus Tritok Flat safety razor.
    Feather blade (2).
    Yaqi synthetic brush.
Azalea City Suds Temple of Relics shave soap sample.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
    Royal Copenhagen cologne.

I worked with and got the head apart last night. I little soak in alcohol and some pressure got it apart. Those nasty glue dots are aggravating. I wiped the head and blade down with alcohol and that took care of the problem. I just need to remember to remove the glue dots from new blades on the future.

My first couple of times with the Azalea City Suds soap was very disappointing. I decided to give the soap a second chance and I'm glad I did. I loaded a little heavier and beat the brakes off if it this morning......a lot better. It is not a bad soap.

Three very nice passes this morning had this one in the bag.

    Take care everyone!

Well, my face and neck ARE on fire after experimenting with a cold-weather shave combination..Jeeves Bay Rum soap and Stephan Bay Rum aftershave. tToo much "Rum" in the "Bay",I guess. The shave itself was great, but the post-shave FEEL is to be dealt with. Stephan has been a classic Thowback shave for me(company began in 1897), and it will continue to be that when it gets cooler here. No issues. Brush looked ready to go at the loading dock. 2 passes. Outta This World Excellent.
