Today's shave was a 9.5/10 no cuts but went the entire shave on dial 3 that feels like I have left something very minimal bur even. Day 12 of topdside, no wrong side today.

I used like always my Gillette slim handle H 2 without case.

I did not use much water on the blade or head of shaver coming out of the shower.

The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am just into chapter 9 just after WWII around 1946--1948 -getting the non North American shaving up and running after WWII.

I think I finally have my Stephan cream plan in order. I used june hand, but two scoops(passes). I think just the one scoop will do from here on out. Why. It's a great smooth cream, but a weird scent, one I can't describe. One gets enough to work with. Clean, clear shave all across the board. No damage. Finished off with Stoylin Glacial Lime A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.

I wonder how rare a French Aristocrat Jr is? This is taking into account this was still right after WWII when the Aristocrat Jr in Europe or in USA the very similar Gillette no flair Super Speed was released and France had sustained massive damage during WWII.

Happy with my Throwback shave for this week. BTW, my brush was the Stoylin "li'l brudder" (just to clear that up from yesterday). It scooped up a lot of the Proraso soap to give me a nice clear clean shave all over. Zero damage. 2 healthy passes, although I'm toying with just doing 1 for future Proraso tub shaves). Fine finish with the Proraso A.S(Refreshing). As Outstanding As It Gets.

Todays shave was a 9/10 because I did get 2--3 individual hairs ripped out where there was almost no bleeding but there was. I use mostly dial 5 after finding the dial 3 was not wreaally doing much due to not doing a great shave yesterday leaving a very light level of hair when done. Day 13 of topside, almost time to switch sides in about 2 shaves.

I used like always my Gillette slim handle H 2 without case.

Used water on the face and did moustache right before using and redid the rest of face for a pass 2 but I used water on the blade or head of shaver keeping that wet.

I did have to clean the shaver in the middle of shaving but then continued to shave then did a lesser full clean, as those full deep cleans are only when stuff is building up or hair is stuck in parts of my shaver.

I used some plain hand sanitizer for aftershave

The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am just into chapter 9 just after WWII around 1950 working on advertising a product different from Gillette shaving.

Purely because I liked the aesthetics of the rose gold plating, which incidentally hasn't deteriorated considering I've had the razor for quite some time now. Occasionally I clean all my razors with anti bacterial dish soap using and old tooth brush and add a few small drops of Wahl hair clipper oil to my TTO razors to keep the mechanisms on the handles in good working order.

This is a late post for this morning's shave. Three passes for a BBS shave. This was a quick and easy shave because I was running late to the local Senior Center. Yes. I didn't lose any blood. I was holding out because I had oral surgery this afternoon. Lol! I didn't have any alum feedback. My post shave routine was great. I will reply to your past posts later this evening. Again, I didn't take a pic for today's setup. Take care.

I use on the one I am currently using toothpicks to get the hair out of the mechanical parts on the head or on corners of my Gillette Adjustable slim handle when the usual cotton swabs and toilet paper are not working, otherwise the twist knob or dial get hard to turn with the corners hard to close the shaver all the way as the hairs block the full closer. I had this just the other day for some reason.
