    My shave was a 9/10 due having one cut on the moustache area and a few smaller cuts because I tried to use a 2 on the blade today but the earlier run of the King C Gillette I am using has not dull in a bit to where I can use more than a 1 on the dial. Blade is Day 3 topside.

    I used like always my Gillette Adjustable Shaver slim handle my no case H 2, the one I can date.

    I used only water on the blade/shaver head only though today I probably could have use water on the face as well. Used like I sometimes do after hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol so the burn can take away the feeling of the shave, did the same yesterday.

    The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my King C Gillete blade, and my Gillette shaver are proving they should be a great trio this month.

    I found out I have 6 more blades in the early era of King C Gillette blades from 2020-2021. By now on topside during shave 3 the glue has come off the blade, this is not thick or hard like on the older runs of Feather blades from the 2010's see people complain about online.

    The Friday Fact(8-1) was:

    prep-Nive 4 Men Bodywash(in shower)
    lather-Mike's Natural(unscented)*
    brush-Razorock Tricolore**
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Bricktown Grooming(Valley Forge***)

    *-I've always liked Mike's.
    ***-withthe 3 colors of Italy on the handle, it looks great!
    ***-A very pleasant tobacco scent-not like that of an ash tray.

    I called an audible at the sink of scrimmage for this one(except for the brush). It was a chilly morning, felt like a "warmer" approach. I'll look at more Mike's when the unnatural is finished. Lather jumped right onto the Italian brush. Clean, clear shave all over-very nice. No damage. Fine close from the Valley Forge. The VF made it onto my "I Can't Be Without This" list. As Outstanding AS It Gets.

    A Proraso Week-end :) Here's Saturday (8-2):

    prep-Nivea 4 Men Bpdywash(in shower)
    lather-Proraso Tub(Refreshing)
    brush-BOAR(green handle, vanilla knot)
    razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Proraso(Refreshing)

    Nice "Refreshing" feeling today, as compared to yesterday. Not to say yesterday's shave was bad, but......ahh, you know what I mean. Clean, clesr shave, across the board, although a slight miss on the right-side under the sideburns. . No "issues of negativity". Fine close from the Proraso A.S. Most Outstanding.

    Bit late but I thought I would pop in anyway

    Blustery day in Perth, WA

    2 Days growth

    Hot Water Prep and Preshave = Derby Menthol shave cream
    Soap = Stirling Bay Rum
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Razor = Gillette No 66
    Blade = Wizamet (6)
    Passes = 2 +
    Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
    ASL = Stirling Bay Rum
    Scent = None needed, enough cloves for the whole day

    Impressed with the Wizamet, day 6! but... starting to pull, and had a minor weeper: hence to the bin it goes

    Hope you all had a a lovely day

    Todays Shave was a 10/10 but most of that is due to the blade being dulled in a hair finally to the stage I like on day 4 topside. I used on 2 the whole time with no cuts, now I know why my slightly thinner no logo Personna USA 100 pack 2024--2025 era blades are my favorite. Now these early runs of King C Gillette in the USA are very similar profile the modern no logo Personna USA 100 pack and blade thickness just a slightly less sharp blade so once the heavy coating on the newer Personna blade is gone the blades dull in a to where I like on shave 3--4 just like the old blades. The current Chinese King C Gillette are so thin they die early for most people and why Chinese made King C Gillette are sold as the main blade for the USA moved to these blades for most of the world was to maximize profits.

    I used like always my Gillette Adjustable Shaver slim handle my no case H 2, the one I can date.

    I used water on my face and on the blade/shaver head only though today I probably could have use water on the face as well. Used like I sometimes do after hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol so the burn can take away the feeling of the shave, did the same yesterday.

    The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my King C Gillete blade, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are for now a great trio this month.

    I just noticed or possibly noticed again that the Gillette Adjustable Shaver slim handle has the comb go almost to the end leaving about 1/8th inch on either side no comb unlike modern shavers using the small comb that either go to the end all the way or are 1/4 inch on either side no matter the design.

    I might have 8 of the original in single wrapper King C Gillette because the newer set of Personna USA 100 pack made about 2024--2025 as I got in early 2025 has 2 of the old Gillette I put into as replacements for the 2 from the pack but I might have 1--2 more mixed in with my old bought in 2017 Personna USA 100 pack in what I thought was the newer section of the King C Gillette that are the made in China ones.

    Sunday Night 03/08/2025

    Hi all,
    I had a lovely shave tonight as expected with the Gillette Aristocrat slim adjustable all ready for an early start tomorrow.
    I chose to set it on 7 which made it quite efficient with a 2nd shave Wizamet blade (In my opinion these are one of the top blades for smoothness and efficiency).

    Like all DE razors the slim adjustable needs to be paired with the correct blade to get the best out of it.
    In my opinion, the Wizamet super iridium blade is one of the best available for smoothness and efficiency and from my experience pairs very well with this razor.

    The WCS Duck fat soap worked quite well giving me good cushioning and zesty fresh aftershave feel.

    Finished off nicely with the Rasozero Rinfrescante splash.

    1 pass WTG 1 pass ATG done no touch ups.
    No Nick’s No Worries.

    Cheers.
