    Nice shave today with my Muhle R89 "Twist". No cuts, nicks, or errors. No burn!

    Razor today - Muhle R89 "Twist" with a fresh Shark blade
    Soap du jor - Chiseled Face "Ghost Town Barber" whipped in my pre-heated bisque ceramic bowl
    Brush - Simpson T-2 synthetic
    3-pass shave makes me REAL smooth! Down-strokes, Up strokes, and across the grain strokes.
    Post-shave - Thayers unscented toner & Geo F Trumper Sandalwood balm
    Chiseled Face "Ghost Town Barber" after-shave

    Hi everyone.

    I just got my Pasteur's Pharmacy order today. It's nice when you can get an order within a day that it's shipped. I guess living 60 miles away from NYC helps. Lol! Anyway, they sent me the Captain's Choice 45th Parallel soap instead of the cream. I contacted them and they apologized for the error and they are sending me the cream free of charge and that I can keep the soap. That is customer service at its best. Anyway, I smelled the soap off the puck and it is almond forward with a hint of cherry. I thought it would be similar to Cella, but it's not, but that's OK. However, the matching aftershave is definitely cherry forward. I am looking forward to shaving with the set tomorrow.
