Brush: Jason's 30DC LE with APShaveCo 24mm cashmere synthetic

    Last shave: Tuesday - 2 days (?)

My last posted shave was Saturday. I shaved on Monday or more likely Tuesday but forgot to post. That shave had the Rockwell T2 on setting "3". As I recall, two passes, no errors, DFS.

Today I moved up to "4" . At this level, I did start to notice that the razor felt more aggressive. I did one pass for something near DFS. The alum was a bit warm though, and I had felt a sting under my lip when starting a stroke. After the alum and rinse, I noticed a half inch line of blood droplets there - I had nicked myself while setting the razor down. It required a dab of the styptic gel to seal it. Since I am going out for dinner with my sister and niece tonight (my niece's last university Christmas exam was today), I don't want a noticeable blood mark on my face.

Next shave will be at setting "5" - and using more care. And probably a fresh blade, just because....

hope everyone has a great holiday season!

    Todays shave 0/5

A huge old Oak fell over down the street from me about 3AM and power has been out since. It’s about 45 depress inside the house, and I’m going into work early so I don’t freeze to death lol. Not even attempting to shave in the pitch black

    Enjoy your morning gents….

    Yikes that's no good.

45F is about 7C that'd make for some cold water shave

Hope you get up and running soon.

Another fantastic shave with the Flare Tip, Minora (2) and Omega boar
Bloomed the Black Cherry with some RO water
    Delightful slick lather

2 + passes for another damage free DFS with some BBS just letting the razor do the driving

Back of the neck worked out great

My usual Rinfrescante and Vetyver to end the working week on a high

The pieces of this puzzle are rapidly coming together, this is my 6th or 7th consecutive shave with the Flare tip, the Omega boar and the Black Cherry. Time to try something different next

(My wife just loves these WASGIJ puzzles, sorry couldn't resist!)

I will put the Flare Tip aside for now but will still try and finish the Black Cherry before the end of December

Liking the Sterling more and more

Wishing you all a safe run up to the 25th December and more great shaves

I hope you have an emergency backup, Scott. That's a very cold house; that's for sure!

Thanks Joe, I have a few more samples the get stuck into. Their samples are large enough for plenty of shaves.
