Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10077.
Face Lather.
Lather: Erasmic shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum. (D2)
Razor: Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Creightons Sensitive PSB.

Last early morning shave of 2024.

A Fresh & bracing cold water shave to gear me up for my final shift of 2024 at the mill today before the Christmas break.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.

Usual Prep and Preshave = Hot water/T&H No 10
Soap = Cella Crema Da Barba all'olio di Mandorla
Brush = Semogue Galahad C3 Premium Boar
Bowl = white plastic
Razor = Gillette Aristocrat
Blade = Feather (4) still going strong-ish: binned to be safe
Passes = 2 + buffing
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea balm
ASL = Cella
Scent = Stirling spice EdT
Score = 9.9 / 10
Damage = none

Just another wonderful shave, the dance was led by the Aristocrat/Feather combo
No sweat, no blood, just pure fun
Ultra smooth, 99% bbs, all set for my Xmas haircut later on in the day

Thank you Chris...I will enjoy the Christmas holiday break, even though it's my turn along with a few other workers to be on call this year over the holidays to help with emergency maintenance at the mill if needed to do so. Hopefully this won't be the case, and I'll only be called out after Christmas day, so I'll be spending Christmas day with my family & friends which is the main thing for me at least.

 

Well, whatever caused the problem at S. Porcupine yesterday DIDN'T cause it today, so it was a real good Throwback Thursday shave.A minute at the Loading Dock for the Stoylin brush. I could have prepared it better, but still it attracted the soap in nice fsshion. Clean&clear across the board. I love thr glass jar in which the Razrock dosp is. Might add it to my "I Can't Be Without This" list. 2 passes. Good close with the Gabels Bay Rum A.S., which went on smoother than I can recall. As Outstanding As It Gets.

I went for a quick and easy 3 pass shave that produced a very close and comfortable shave. Went with the Gillette Heritage Razor with the Wilkinson Sword blade. This was the 6th shave on this blade. It was still sharp to give me a nice shave, but I can tell that it's nearing it's shelf life so I binned it right after this session.

As you can see, I no longer am using PAA/ King R Emporium because I had very little left so I place it in my mug with my other bits and pieces from other soaps. I will be using my Frankensoaps before the year ends.
In any event, I went with the wonderful Sea Spice Lime. Here's my lather:



The alum feedback was minimal. Did my usual postshave routine of witch hazel and the aftershave application. Take care.

A fabulous blue tip shaved this morning. The blue tip is a mild razor but once you get it dialed in, it delivers an exceptionally close shave.

This is the penultimate shave with this soap as I am projected to finish it either tomorrow or the day after Christmas. The Edmund Fitzgerald will be rising up to claim another soap from the Northern Den.

I completed my usual three pass shave without any errors. The end result was a super smooth finish with a silent alum report.

It is now time to do my chores for the day prior to Anthony coming home from school. I have been somewhat busy this morning with my X3 Bar workout. Additionally, the prep for Christmas dinner is underway.
