Thanks Joe. It was fun shaving my head with a shavette. I just took it a tiny bit slower than I usually do.

"Breen" is simply what has become of Clubman's Special Reserve of late. Too much green in that brown.

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Union Cutlery Banty 9/16”
    Brush: Ever Ready 200T
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: WTF Vintage Barbershop
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Fabulous shave with the straight. It is a relatively small blade, I think Jeff, @jgreenepa, would enjoy this one. It delivered a super close and comfortable shave. The blade is easy to maneuver around the face and neck. It will be DFA, Designated For Assignment, at the Southern den for this point forward.

Hope you all have a great day gentlemen.

Looks like a very enjoyable shave Barry. I see you are continuing to rock the 37c. The 39c will make it’s debut in the Southern den this week.

My goodness, what a change from 24 hours ago. What do I mean. Great shave all around this morning with the "no-name" Stoylin brush. The Razorock lather really sticks to the brush upon the loading "prOHcess". I like that, no doubt. No negative issues anywhere. The Ingrown Swamp(hairs)will always be at North Cactus, but I went after them anyway. 2 passes. Zero across the board on Cuts, Knicks, and Polka-dots. No additional harm to yesterday's big cut on West Cactus(across from Ingrown Swamp). Very happy with this shave. As Outstanding As It Gets

From reading the descriptions of Vintage Barbershop and Modern Barbershop, it appeared to me that the Modern was more Vintage. What do you think?

The company made the change, so I reacted to it,

I have not personally experienced the “Modern”. I tend to migrate towards more darker (deeper) scents.

    Slant is the one!
I really like the Nivea too. I need to get more of that stuff! Calms the skin and smells real nice too!

I have my things laid out for my shave after a shower before bed. It's been a while since I used a shavette so, the kamasori is up! Feather Professional blade (1)
It has been a while for the "Leviathan" too. Quite a different scent I find hard to describe. Maybe a bit of tobacco to it. I have the whole kit-n-kabootle of balm and after-shave too!
I forgot to put the Thayers out for the photo! I will be using the unscented.
