Yes, I also have the Grande. I like all of my Fatip razors. Modern razors in the vintage style. If it ain't bbroke, don't fix it! LOL Multi-blade cart razors are ALL about profit. I get less irritation and better shaves with the vintage and the modern versions of the vintage.[/QUOTE]

I've been toying with moving up to 3. Maybe that will help get rid of the astroturf Im feeling on my cheeks.

    SE Shave # 312 - 3017 Weekdays - Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: PAA Injector - Type L
    Blade: Persona Injector
Brush: Jayaruh 382 “Civil War” Boar
Lather: Proraso Aloe and Vitamin E
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk
    Additional Care:
    Maggards Alum
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Nivea Sensitive Balm

Excellent injector shave this morning. Three passes with the luxurious lather of the Proraso soap. The Jayaruh boar brush whipped up a very nice lather, enough for three passes and one post shave application.

I am ready for another day in the Florida sun.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

A fine Throwback Thursday shave this morning. 5 less Knicks today than yesterday. That results in GOOSE EGGS. :). Solid amount of the Bay Rum soap onto the Razorock brush. I made sure there was a lot of soap everywhere on my face and neck. Nice and clean over all areas. 2 passes. The Stephan Bay Rum aftershave felt real nice. As Oustanding As It Gets.

"If it ain't broke, then don't fix it!"..Well said Gary. The Grande is wonderful razor. My Vintage & modern Injector razors are now my go to razors for my head/done shaves. Vintage razors are superb shaving tools.

I just got my new addition to my den. It is the Gillette Heritage Razor. @poppi, Thanks again for offering it in the TSD Raffle and the 2 tucks of Blades. I will be shaving with it this afternoon.

    Good afternoon.

    Gillette Heritage Razor
    Gillette Platinum DE Blade (fresh)
    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Stirling Spice SS, AS, EdT
    Stirling Alum Block
    Beard Growth: 24 hrs

This picture shows that I was going to use the Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade, but I changed my mind and used the Gillette Platinum blades that came in the set.

Today, I just got this razor delivered to me so I decided to try it. I have to say that it's a nice razor. The weight is more in the handle, but I am OK with it because it's not a heavy razor. The knurling gave me a nice grip. This is a mild razor so I probably won't use it for heavier stubble , but I am fine with it. The razor's head and base are almost identical to the Muhle R89 and the EJ89. I guess if I somehow damage the head that ai can easily replace it. It is also the very first time that I have used a Gillette Platinum blade and I have to say that I like it. It's smooth and pretty sharp to take down my 1 day stubble.
I decided to take a rest from the Stirling Lavender Bergamot and break open my new Stirling Spice tub. I would say it's not as strong as the original Stirling Spice, but I still like the scent.

Did a 3 pass shave for a BBS shave without any drama. I really appreciate mild razors, but I still like aggressive ones. Lol!
Just had one zing from the alum block and the matching aftershave gave me some burn. Maybe it was due to the fact that I did a double splash. Chuckling. Finished with the piece de resistance with the matching EdT. I smell and look good. Take care.
