    Thanks Joe. I will not use this soap as often as I would like because once it is fitzed, then it's gone forever. Fortunately, I still have an unused tub and a half -full tubof Music City Suds Lavender to keep me satisfied. However, when they are gone, that's it for them as well. Thank goodness it will never a long time before those 2 tubs are gone.

    Awesome shaves everyone. I have LL softball starting back up and 3 business trips in 4 weeks. Taking a bit of a sabbatical from shave focus, but am reading/enjoying all the posts…

    Fancied even More Bay Rum

    Prep = 2 x 30 second tap water soak
    Preshave = TOBS Jermyn street cream
    Soap = Sterling Bay Rum
    Brush = Pura Setola
    Bowl = Timeless
    Razor = Merkur 37C
    Blade = Derby Premium (3)
    Passes = 3
    Post = Usual tap water rinse, Alum was silent, tap water rinse, Thayers
    ASL = Stirling Bay Rum
    Damage = none

    Score = 9.8 / 10

    Comments = Another sterling Sterling shave. Love the double dose of BR. Bit of extra scent to the pulse points to add some spice to Feb 14th

    Three passes with intra-pass WTG XTG and ATG as needed, This seems to work well for me
    Surprised by the smoothness of the blade on Day 3, probably largely due to the Sterling
    Lovely post shave skin protection

    Have a Wonderful Wednesday, one and all

    Fine shave today. Good work at the Loading Dock, recalling the advice I've seen-"tips(of the brush)only". Course I didn't follow that EXACTLY, as I do tend to load other parts of the brush, too.. But the advice led to a clean&clear shave most everywhere(except around the area of the Ingrown Hairs on Cactus). Zero across the board on cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots. Just solid Stoylin work. Good finish from the Puros aftershave. Cured cigar leaf is the scent of this one. Maybe comparable to Tabac? This one gets a As Outstanding As It Gets. Miles better than yesterday's Very Mediocre.

    For any of you planning to purchase Stephan Bay Rum in the near future, don't go to Walmart. The price blew me away in a shocking way. Maybe their listed price pertained to the TUB, not the 16 oz. bottle. Much better deal at WB Barber, where I got my last one.

    LOL- I'm staying shaved, still most every day as I have now come to appreciate being cleaner shaven. It's the gear selection, pictures and time to be online that's been tough. I'm going to post a SOTD or two here as I can, and have an idea for another focus in March. My last trip to Vegas is over about a week into next month, and then I will be in better shape timewise...
